Kehilat
HaCarmel (Carmel Assembly) is a Messianic congregation that
began on Mount Carmel, Israel in 1991. Jews, Arabs and other
Gentiles worship together and are building a caring community
of reconciliation, faith and service, based on the "one
new man" of Ephesians 2:15.
The
congregation has its roots in the Beit Nitzachon (House
of Victory) residential rehabilitation center in Haifa.
The work of the congregation encompasses weekly worship
and prayer services, youth meetings and Shabbat school for
younger children, as well as home groups for Hebrew, English,
Russian, and Arabic speakers.
Individuals serve in outreaches such as the "Raven's
Basket" mobile food distribution to needy families,
or the "Elijah's Cloak" clothing distribution
center located in downtown Haifa.
We
also encourage intercessors from the nations to join us
in our ongoing prayer watches and Schools of Ministry held
in our adjoining ministry center, "Or HaCarmel"
(Light of Carmel).
